What is Melt®? 

Creator, Sue Hitzmann, developed MELT® in response to research that showed the missing links to pain-free living are a balanced nervous system and healthy connective tissue.

MELT® directly address these two systems of the body in a way no other self-treatment does.   This means that MELT® can offer natural pain relief, allowing you to address the true cause of chronic pain (not just mask the symptoms) and help you stay healthy, youthful, and active for a lifetime.

How does MELT® work?

Daily living creates stress and tension within your body. Physical ‘stressors’ may range from sitting at a desk to running a marathon. Emotional, mental and environmental ‘stressors’ also put strain on your body.

The repetitive stress of daily living literally gets stuck in the connective tissue, which surrounds every joint, muscle, nerve, bone and organ. ‘Stuck Stress’ accumulates and causes dehydration in the connective tissue, which interferes with the nervous system’s ability to regulate itself and slows down the body’s natural healing process.

This creates a domino effect that begins with aches and stiffness and leads to common health issues such as neck and low back pain, headaches, insomnia, digestive problems and injury. Accelerated ageing and chronic health problems can follow, leaving us with limited options such as medication, surgery and an increasingly sedentary lifestyle.

Using specialised techniques and equipment, such as soft body rollers, balls and bands, MELT® helps to quickly rehydrate the connective tissue, rebalance the nervous system, and restore space to compressed joints. This allows the body to release long-held tension and stress that leads to chronic pain.

MELT® is easy to learn and creates results you will see and feel in the first session. Changes in alignment, flexibility, energy, mood and performance occur within only a few sessions. Classes

Each class can accommodate up to 10 people. You will need to bring your own mat along, but MELT® rollers, balls and resistance bands are supplied as required.  Currently we have no classes scheduled but I hope to be able to offer MELT® classes again soon! In the meantime I can conduct MELT® sessions in person or online on a One to One basis (see below).

One to One

A 60 minute session tailored to your body’s needs, using MELT® techniques that will empower you to treat those niggles and imbalances. I can conduct these sessions from our studio in Ickleford or in the comfort of your own home (within a 10 minute radius of Ickleford, Hitchin)*.
